Art Galleries Association Singapore (AGAS) is pleased to announce Fiction of Precision, an exhibition featuring works from selected AGAS members. These artists have shown remarkable insight on how malleable their chosen mediums are, and how they have adapted to past, present and future stakes to their concepts, practice and final work. It opens up discourse on the resilience of an artist in addition to how they reconcile with recognizing the fiction of precision in terms of a “perfect” work, process or environment. 

In tandem with studying the location of Millenia Walk, a place where numerous changes have taken place - The very idea of the cosmopolitan shopping mall has been constantly in flux, in trying to re-create a menu of vendors that are also precise. The participating galleries have considerately woven into this occurrence works that will both strike and disillusion the viewer into realizing the fiction and elusiveness of place, time and state of mind.
