"The Twelve Rooms is an embroidered illustration series that is inspired by personal stories revolving around the theme of growing up. I started this series as an outlet of expression and as illustrative reminders on growing up in this digital day and age as a millennial. I was inspired to create these pieces also to encourage conversation about certain issues like bullying and sexuality."
